Firmographics and TAM

Map your total addressable market.

A TAM guess from a slide deck isn't a strategy. Lead Nexus lets you size your market against live data: pick the industries, the company sizes, and the geographies that matter, and watch the count update as you go.

What you get.

  • 527 industries, classified by NAICS and SIC for clean, repeatable segmentation.
  • Employee counts and revenue ranges to scope company size.
  • Geography down to state, with a map view.
  • Live counts as you filter, which is instant TAM sizing before you spend a credit.

Worked example

Size a market in three steps.

The classic mid-market SaaS sizing exercise, run against the live database. Every step narrows the count.

  1. 1 Software Development
  2. 2 11 to 200 employees, US
  3. 3 Narrowed to Texas
484,390
contacts at 33,106 companies nationally
Narrowed to Texas: 40,213 contacts at 2,803 companies

Counted June 2026. In the workshop, the count updates live at every step.

Sizing is free

Size every segment before you spend anything.

Filtering, live counts, histograms, the map view, and masked previews never touch your credits. Run the sizing exercise across every segment you can think of; you pay only when you export the records.

  • Counts and facets are free, in the workshop and over the API.
  • Histograms by headcount and a state-level map show the shape of the segment, not just the total.
  • Save the segment as a preset and re-run it whenever the question comes back.

Classification you can repeat

Free-text industry labels drift. Coded classification doesn't, which is what makes a segmentation defensible in a board deck and reproducible next quarter.

  • 527 industries, plus NAICS and SIC codes on the company record.
  • Employee-count bands from 1 to 10 up through 10,001+.
  • Revenue ranges from under $1M to $1B+.
  • US and Canada, down to the state and province.

TAM questions.

Does sizing a market cost credits?
No. Counts, facets, histograms, the map, and masked previews are all free. A credit is spent only when a full record leaves the platform, so the sizing exercise itself costs nothing no matter how many segments you run.
NAICS codes or industry names?
Both. Filter by named industry when you want broad coverage fast, or by NAICS and SIC code when the segmentation needs to be precise and repeatable. The two combine in the same search.
Can I get the company list, not just contacts?
Every export carries the full record, and that includes the complete company block: name, domain, industry, codes, size, revenue, location, and signals. Filter to one contact per company and the export is your account list.
